Pittsburgh is home to nine Fortune 500 companies, including PNC Financial Services, PPG Industries, U.S. Steel, H. J. Heinz Company, WESCO International, and CONSOL. Transportation Options

The Allegheny County School System is comprised of 42 districts, including the Pittsburgh School District, which has received silver and bronze medals and national ranking by the US News and World Report. The Pittsburgh Public School District offers 23 K-5 schools, 11 K-8 schools, 7 middle schools, and 4 high schools, as well as several Early Childhood centers and Early Head Start programs.
